Our mission is simple: strengthen human relationships, encourage meaningful contribution, and help communities thrive through trust, reciprocity, and participation.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Platform.

By using the Platform, you represent that:

• you are at least 18 years old;
• the information you provide is accurate;
• you are legally capable of entering into this agreement; and
• your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable law.

We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and perspectives, provided they participate respectfully and comply with our Community Standards.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately.

Unless otherwise authorized, each individual may maintain only one personal account.

You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your account information updated.

Some portions of the Platform may require a paid subscription.

Current planned pricing:

• KommunityHub: approximately $3/month (USD)
• KoinPurse / Kula.today: approximately $7/month (USD)

Pricing may change over time.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable.

Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe or similar payment processors. We do not store full credit card information on our servers.

While we take reasonable steps to work with reputable providers, we cannot guarantee the security of third-party systems.

KommunityKoin exists to strengthen communities, not fracture them. By using the Platform, you agree to:

• treat others with kindness and respect;
• avoid harassment, abuse, threats, hate speech, or intimidation;
• avoid fraud, impersonation, deception, or manipulation;
• avoid illegal activity;
• avoid spam, bots, scraping, or unauthorized automation;
• respect the boundaries and rules of individual communities.

We reserve the right to remove content, restrict features, suspend communities, or terminate accounts that violate these standards or create harm to the Platform or its members.

You retain ownership of the content you create and share.

By posting content on the Platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the operation, improvement, and promotion of the Platform.

You are solely responsible for the content you post, upload, share, transmit, or otherwise make available. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or integrity of user-generated content.

We may remove or restrict content that:

• violates these Terms;
• violates applicable law;
• infringes intellectual property rights;
• threatens community safety;
• or undermines the integrity of the Platform.

Kommunities, groups, and communities created on KommunityHub are independently organized and operated.

KommunityKoin, KommunityHub, KoinPurse, and Kula.today do not supervise, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the actions, conduct, safety, legality, or reliability of individual communities or their members.

Participation in online or in-person activities is entirely voluntary and at your own risk.

Users are responsible for exercising judgment, caution, and personal responsibility in all interactions.

KommunityKoin, KoinPurse, Kula.today, and related services are designed to encourage community participation, recognition, reciprocity, and relationship-building.

Any reputation indicators, social capital systems, contribution records, badges, acknowledgements, “Kula", "Koins", or community recognition tools provided through the Platform:

• are symbolic and community-oriented only;
• have no cash value;
• are not cryptocurrency, securities, investments, or financial instruments;
• are not redeemable for money;
• and do not represent ownership interests of any kind.

The Platform does not provide banking, investment, securities, money transmission, or financial advisory services.

The Platform’s names, branding, logos, software, designs, graphics, and original materials are the property of GotKoin, LLC unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Platform materials without written permission.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been improperly posted on the Platform, please contact us with:

• your contact information;
• identification of the copyrighted work;
• identification of the allegedly infringing material;
• and a statement that you believe the use is unauthorized.

We may remove allegedly infringing material while investigating complaints.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We believe privacy is a responsibility, not merely a feature.

By creating an account, you agree that we may send you:

• account notifications;
• security alerts;
• service announcements;
• legal notices;
• administrative messages;
• and community-related communications.

These may be delivered through email, SMS, notifications, or other reasonable communication methods.

You may opt out of optional promotional communications, but certain administrative or legal notices are necessary for maintaining an account.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to help protect your information.

However, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. You understand and accept that you use the Platform at your own risk.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, integrations, or tools. We are not responsible for the content, practices, policies, or reliability of third-party services. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”;
• we make no warranties regarding reliability, availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose;
• and GotKoin, LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• loss of data;
• loss of goodwill;
• interruptions in service;
• unauthorized access to accounts;
• disputes between users;
• or reliance on user-generated content.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GotKoin, LLC, its affiliates, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, licensors, and partners from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• your use of the Platform;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your violation of applicable law;
• or your infringement of another person’s rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if:

• you violate these Terms;
• create risk or harm to the community;
• engage in fraud or abuse;
• or expose the Platform to legal or security concerns.

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal dispute arising from these Terms shall be brought in the courts located in Bexar County, Texas, or the applicable federal courts located in Texas.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users before the updated Terms take effect.

Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, these Kommunities are not owned, managed, supervised, endorsed, or controlled by KommunityKoin, KommunityHub, KoinPurse, Kula.today, or GotKoin, LLC. KommunityKoin serves primarily as an educational and community-building ecosystem focused on topics such as time co-ops, time banking, social capital, reciprocity, and community participation. KommunityHub provides a platform where individuals and groups may connect, organize, and strengthen Kommunity relationships.
